Face Painting: Face Painting by Hilary returns to decorate everyone’s face for free! A fan favorite, kids and adults alike can get their face painted with any design. Adults, please let kids go first!

Valkyrie Slime Demonstrations: Kristin Wolfe of Valkyrie Slime will offer short demonstrations throughout the day to teach the basics of making slime, as well as how to make more “Advanced” textures using simple household ingredients. Demos only take 5 minutes and feature mini-lessons on how to make scented slime, butter slime, cloud slime, and even thermochromic and photochromic color-changing slimes! Children will also be able to take a free piece of demo slime home, so come by and slime with us! (Supplies limited – one free demo sample per child per day.)

Learn to Draw Comics: Dawn’s Art To You is back to teach how to draw your favorite superheroes. Open to all ages, get step-by-step instructions that you can take home and continue on your own.

C4 Creation Center: We’ve got all the materials for kids to make their own superhero masks! Your mask can be based on a known hero, or use your own creativity and personality to make something totally new. You can also make bookmarks for your comics, or just sit and color this year’s new free Activity Book full of coloring pages and puzzles! Capital Area District Library Mason Branch joins us this year with their button-making and sticker-making machines. Learn how you can check the machines out yourself from the library!

Cosplay contests! Kids and adults can enter cosplay contests for a chance to win prizes! You can also take pictures with your favorite superheroes around the con. Read more about cosplay rules on our web page.

Photo Opportunities: Get your picture taken with a superhero, Stormtrooper, Jedi, Ghostbuster, G.I. Joe, and more! Life-size statues and vehicles will be available for poses.

Gaming: All our gaming areas – Sponsored by Deep Water Games – are kid-friendly and full of staff that will help teach games to kids and adults alike. Stop by any game area and let them know you’re a beginner; they’ll help get you started!
