Dirk is best known as the writer and creator of the horror anthology series “Nightmare World”, “Love Stories (To Die For)”, and “Haunted High-Ons” AND comic series such as the “Cthulhu Noir” Tales Of Mr. Rhee, and “Hope”. For years, his “Write or Wrong” column at Newsarama has provided stories aimed to inspire young artists and offer frank and honest advice about how to successfully meet artists, become creators themselves, and get their work published. He has since collected select column entries from those offerings, revisited them, and assembled them into the book “Write or Wrong”: A Writer’s Guide to Creating Comics, released in 2012.
Make sure that you stop by his table in Artist Alley to chat with him and become familiar with his work. Dirk appears extensively throughout the country, but when he isn’t out and about, he is alive on the Internet.
